So, instead of discussing fantasy literature, I’m going to talk about fantasy music.
Kind of.
A song of ice and fire from the very first note. All the difference a drunk, a dwarf and a dragonbone dagger might have made in the right order. An audacious attempt to weave something new from the same web GRRM has spun. Nymeria led her ragged fleet down the Rhoyne, past ruined towns and fields of corpses. To avoid Volantis and the dragonlords, Nymeria chose an older channel and emerged into the Summer Sea where the city of Sarhoy once stood. The following voyage was long and terrible, and more than a hundred ships sank in the first storm they encountered. Welcome to A World of Ice and Fire. A modification for Mount&Blade;: Warband based off of GRRM's A Song of Ice and Fire and the HBO TV show Game of Thrones. This mod has used Brytenwalda's source as a base to re-build upon. CK2:AGOT 2.2 Checksum: FYIO Compatible with: CK2 3.3.3. A Game of Thrones is a total conversion mod for Crusader Kings II, based on George R. Martin’s fantasy novel series, A Song of Ice and Fire.
So Crusader Kings’ 2 is this medieval simulation feudal game that I’ve probably played too much of, and it’s based off of medieval European dynasties. They do what normal noble families do…….. kill each other, kill other people, inherit stuff, and basically mess around. It’s a ton of fun.

And then there’s the A Game of Thrones mod for it.
It’s pretty awesome, and I’m just blown away by the work done in it.

But I’m here to talk specifically about the music.

They have a composer named Aurėlien Benharrats who made over two hours of original soundtrack for the mod, and I absolutely love it. It fits the mod amazingly.
Here, just have a listen to the main them (first three minutes):
It just fits so well with the series in general! Oh well, just a short post.
